Hi! I’m a mother of 3 adult children. I purchased the Joseph Awake doll by Angela. This big boy brings me so much emotional happiness. I was excited with the process the artist, Angela, takes. I’m glad she shared his progress with me and answered all of my questions. We squeaked out the details, and Angela shipped him out with lovely goodies in very safe packaging. When I got the box home, I slowly opened the package savoring every item. I opened Hamlin( Joseph Awake) last. As soon as I saw him my mood went from 0-60. My life had was routine and I was lonely. When I first thought about buying a doll, I felt I might be embarrassed by others because the dolls appear so real. So, quietly I would move him around the frequent areas of my home with me throughout the day. My mood started to change positively and I was starting to pick up around the house and smile more. Joseph awake sculpt is gorgeous. He is like a 🧸 teddy bear with a bit of neediness in his eyes. So I still keep him moving around the house today, and with the whole process I’m less lonely. My experience has been that my Hamlin inspired me to engage in my life. I care enough to get out of bed, take care of myself and my home. I know it sounds silly, but my collection of dolls make me happy every-time I look at them. My Daughter and my Son in law announced last Christmas they were pregnant and my heart soared. My granddaughter named Salem is now 4 months old. I watch her in my home two days a week which brings me joy in my heart. I believe it was the dolls that prepared me to be a Great Mimi.
